University of Bristol unveils new TITS Library

On Friday, at Bristol’s Credit and Recognition Awards Ceremony for Kineticists (aka The CRACKs), UOB Vice Chancellor Hugh Brady announced the opening of an exciting new study space, the Theological Investigations and Thematic Studies Library.

The Whip caught up with Mr Brady after the prestigious event.

‘I am absolutely thrilled to have the honour of opening the new Theological Investigations and Thematic Studies, or TITS, Library,’ Mr Brady said.

‘We’re all thrilled for this new development to become another of Bristol’s top quality academic facilities.

‘The TITS will stand proudly next to the ASS Library on Tyndall Avenue, and has been designed by a leading architect to match its brutalist structure.

‘The ASS, which was first opened in the 1970s, has become a pillar of our great institution. It has been a safe, warm place for our students and touched many of them over the years.

‘We are confident that the TITS will touch our Theologians and Thematic Students in its special own way.’
