Breaking news from the Palace has emerged this morning, revealing that new parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen to name their baby after Leeds University’s most luxurious and affluent halls of residence.
Whilst media outlets speculated over what name the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would chose to bestow upon their Royal infant, The Whip can confirm that they have decided on the name Charles Morris Windsor.
An official spokeswoman for the couple released a statement on their behalf:
“We are delighted to reveal today that our son (and future King if all things go to plan) is to be called Charles Morris Windsor.
“As a couple, we felt this name represented exactly the type of person we wanted our son to grow up to be: cool, confident and very, very rich.
“The other Royals have taken to this news surprisingly well: dear cousin Beatrice has already promised to get him a cartilage piercing for Christmas and HRH Grandfather Phil dropped off a cargo pants baby-grow this morning.
“We ask that the media respects our privacy at this time (but not so much that everyone stops talking about us because without that we’re literally just people that live in a nice house for free whilst getting paid to go to the FA Cup final and the occasional lunch).”
